Innovations in Design: What We Learned 

Barrisol is renowned for their stretch ceiling solutions, but our visit unveiled a much broader spectrum of possibilities. From acoustic wall covering to integrated A/C ceiling systems, and even bespoke design features like luminous panels and tailored light fixtures. Particularly inspiring was their focus on sustainability. Their Biowood material, made from 92% natural components, blends eco-consciousness with cutting-edge design. They also offer translucent acoustic panels that balance light diffusion and sound absorption, a perfect solution for large commercial spaces that demand both elegance and performance. 

Exploring Architectural Icons 

Adding to this enriching experience, Barrisol arranged for visits to two of Europe’s most celebrated design landmarks. We explored the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany, a showcase of design history and innovation, followed by Le Corbusier’s Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, France—a masterpiece of modernist architecture. For any design enthusiast, these sites are essential pilgrimages, offering endless inspiration. 

The trip left us brimming with new ideas for integrating Barrisol’s products into our projects. From seamless architectural ceilings that conceal sprinklers and speakers to acoustic solutions that elevate both aesthetics and functionality, we’re excited to bring these innovations to our clients in London.
